Duncan, Eli and Chloe welcome you to African Overlanders.
Eli is Spanish (and typically so!) she loves cooking, people and parties. She lived in Germany for 14 years and speaks fluent German. She also speaks  very good French and English.
Duncan is English, and although I’m no linguist, I have travelled greatly through most continents. During my travels I rode motorbikes up and down the East and West coasts of Africa, and have always felt at home here.
Last (but by no means least!)  our Valentine’s Day daughter, Chloe,  was born in 2011.

African Overlanders is based on my experiences of riding in Africa and aims to give the whole travelling community the facilities they require for a happy and healthy adventure. We are open to anyone who needs our facilities.

We are based 40kms from Cape Town, in Stellenbosch Farms just off the N1.

We aim  to always try to find a solution for any problem you have, and will work hard to achieve the best outcome for you. If you’re lucky enough not to have any problems -just look through our list of things to do, relax and enjoy your time with us!

So what do we offer?
We have a campsite with electrical points and lots of cover to keep off the sun (or rain- it may be Africa, but it still occurs!)
We have a dorm room and double rooms to give you a break from your tent floor or rooftop tent. We have recommended mechanics we can send you to If your  vehicle is making noises which need a cure.
We offer a comprehensive vehicle storage service aimed at saving you money on shipping fees.
We have a variety of vehicle shipping services that we are confident will be cheaper than anything else you are quoted.
We have food and cold beer waiting for you in our fridge!
We can accept delivery of parcels for you awaiting your collection.
We can look for a solution to ANY problem you need help to solve. The list above is certainly not exhaustive! Let us know if you have any other need and we will endeavour to meet it for, or with, you!
