Our double rooms have an unusual history, the kitchen and bar at African Overlanders was originally the birthing rooms for the stud farm that was here for the previous owners. They had produced some very good racehorses born on this farm, some of the pictures of these horses we have in the rooms, the two bedrooms which are bigger than normal stables where used for the mother and foal in the first weeks of the new horses life. The rooms still have a feel of the stables with a few modern furnishings added.
